Have a little more movement today.
The brown stuff in the bottom of the cup is the food the larval eat while growing.
There is enough food in here for the 7-10 days.
There are tiny holes in the top of the cup to let in enough air.

 

The web like silk as been spun to allow the caterpillars
to move about more easily and protects them.

As the caterpillars enter the pupal stage
they will crawl to the top of the cup
& hang upside down!
